For those of you taking the PCCN exam, congratulations and good luck. To help you learn the key concepts necessary to pass the exam, you will find the
format we have used in the book is one of short, easy
to read chapters. Following the PCCN blueprint, we
hope these chapters increase your chance of being
successful when taking the exam.
We have also placed two practice exams on the
accompanying CD. Our goal is to allow you two practice attempts at the exam before taking the real test.
The PCCN exam attempts to reflect what you
will see in your practice. While this reflection will
vary depending on your clinical practice, the content is something you will generally see in your practice. This is an important point, as the best way to
study for the exam is to use the information in this
book in your clinical practice. Using the information
in your clinical practice makes taking the exam easier, as you already know much of the information
tested on the exam.
As always, good luck in taking the exam.
