Specific learning target(s) / objectives: The learner will: ● use models to explain addition in word problems. ● write number sentences to represent addition Teaching notes: This lesson focuses on addition and subtraction. Agenda: (1) The students will sit in a circle and act out math story. (2) The teacher will present the word problem and the students will need to determine if its an addition or subtraction problem and explain why.
