Define each feasibility type and include an example that shows a lack of feasibility OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY Operational feasibility provides effectiveness and ensures that a system will co ... ntinue to help effectively after its been developed. Example: Having to change the system implementation and deliver that information to the business partner can provide negative moral for the users having to deal with the many changes. TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY Technical feasibility required the specific subject matter experts to implement and operate a successfully system. A project might not be well developed if the staff producing it is not well aware of trained properly to implement and develop. Example: A company was hired to develop a system to improve a company’s operations. The company currently has obsolete equipment that would need to be upgraded in other to process with the upgrade, causing an unplanned additional spending for the upgrade. ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY Economic feasibility means that the new system being implemented will outweighs the ownership overall. That’s including support, maintenance cost, and development cost. If is to costly it can take years to be if self, or not at all. Example: A new warehouse system will allow new inventory volume and production volume to expand revenue. Resulting in benefit outweighing the cost to implement a WMS system. SCHEDULE FEASIBILITY Schedule feasibility means that a system project is implemented in a successful time frame. Schedule instability and improper coordination will result in time delayed and failed date goals.
