For example, data analytics converts data into useful information that helps solve questions. Examples of this would be a marketing campaign for wrinkle cream. Data analytics will help determine that a demographic market of teenagers under the age of 20 most likely would not by the product. However, a demographics of people over the age of 30 would. I was able to gain insights as to what the analytics cycle is used for such as, acquiring data, exploring it, visualizing it, testing, and studying it to see if this information could solve a business solution. What I can be done with the data, well for starters it creates continuous learning opportunities which can help build America, help serve customer needs, and how to turn data into wealth. Data is collected by external events such as marketing or public relations events, this data is then turned into business systems which leads to sales, applied to internal apps such as an app for customer service. All this data then goes through what the video describes as the back office where the information is transformed and made ready for useful business action. The front office consumes the data to target new or old customers to monitor business transactions or for strategic planning.
