At The BraMakery we have received multiple complaints from our customers that our shipments are not shipping within the expected time frame. We sell across many different platforms including Etsy and our own hosted website. On Etsy these customer complaints have caused the company to exceed the maximum order defect rate. We do not get the same level of customer complaints on other platforms Etsy calculates an estimated delivered by date which is based on the stores stated handling time of 3 to 5 business days and the estimated transit time based on the shipping method. This date is displayed to the customer before they purchase and indicates a promise to the customer that we must meet or exceed. I would like to analyze the average time it takes to ship orders out and compare it to our promised handling time. B.
