Everyone communicated and participated with the project nicely. Things I found out about the company were amazing. Some of the findings were things I already assumed or have already been looking to fix but getting their opinion on how to fix it was the best thing I could have done. In the office departments, most of them felt that they needed me to hire more people to help with the workload/paperwork. The department head of the actual labor workers was very unhappy with the pay scale and how we pay. We do something called a pay for performance plan. This is a rating scale where clients can give a rating for their cleanings each time, they have one. The rating directly determines the compensation that the Professional Home Cleaner will make. The problem with this is that it is subjective. You could get a really mean client who just did not like you that day and could give a bad rating. Some great suggestions were made to correct these things. What exercise did you choose in order to experience the discipline chosen? I chose to do an exercise that was easy but effective. I had a basket out on the table and started by letting them know the details of the project as well as what the expectations of the day were.
