declare his truth?"
Describe the methods Miller uses to achieve the climactic build-up at the end of Act II. (Note
images, syntax, rhythm, any special effects) ✔✔At the end of Act II, and throughout the book
the author uses themes such as intolerance, and hysteria building up the reader's need to find out
more information as well as a fear for the characters that they have developed connections with.
In addition the author uses very little foreshadowing, and instead uses a present tense method of
directing the reader (e.g., filling in the reader using a third-person narrator who occasionally
interrupts throughout the acts).
