Describe where Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 are now in relation to our solar system. Note: The heliosphere is a distant region around the Sun, in which interstellar space begins. (2 points) Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 are in interstellar space, in between stars and in the heliosphere. b. Describe the objective of the Voyager Interstellar Mission (VIM). (2 points) To extend the exploration of the solar system past the Sun’s sphere of influence. c. Under the heading "Mission" at the top of the page, click the "Science" link. Read about the science investigation teams, and list two investigations that are currently under way. (2 points) 1. Magnetic Field Investigation (MAG) – evaluates strength of the Sun’s magnetic field 2. Plasma Investigation (PLS) - evaluates strength of radio emissions at heliopause d.
