Plot Summary

Mickey Gibson, a former New Jersey detective now working for a global investigation company called ProEye, receives a call from a supposed colleague named "Arlene Robinson" requesting she inventory a vacant mansion. Mickey, who is juggling work with single motherhood, takes the job, but upon arriving at the mansion, she discovers a long-decomposed body in a secret room.

The situation quickly unravels as Mickey learns that no one named Arlene Robinson works for ProEye, the alleged arms dealer owner of the mansion doesn't exist, and the dead man is identified as Harry Langhorne, a wealthy recluse with mob ties who was in Witness Protection.
