Title of Presentation: Techniques for using Chloraprep Target Audience: Newly hired operating room nurses
Program Description: This is a two-hour class that helps to teach newly hired operating room nurses proper reasoning and techniques for performing an alcohol-based prep using a chloraprep stick. This class is one part of a 5-hour overall section of classes on prepping of a surgical sites and various surgical site preparation solutions.
Overall Course Objective(s): At the end of this class, the newly hired operating room nurse will be able to properly use a chloraprep stick to prep a surgical site for surgery.
